ELC’s Breast Cancer Campaign Highlights the Diversity of Breast Cancer by Uniting Voices From Around the World

Through authentic film storytelling, The Breast Cancer Campaign features ambassadors, partners, and ELC employees to highlight the diversity of this disease and the hope that unites

Company Feature

A breast cancer diagnosis profoundly affects everyone it touches—patients, loved ones, doctors, caregivers, advocates, and more—and although the journey often begins with the same words, “You have cancer,” there is no single story that encapsulates the breast cancer experience. In honor of its 30th anniversary, The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign (The Campaign) highlights the diversity of this disease and the hope that unites us by bringing to life authentic stories of those impacted by breast cancer.

Through a short film—which features testimonies from The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) employees who have been impacted by breast cancer; Elizabeth Hurley, Global Ambassador of The Campaign; campaign-supported scientists from the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF); and other ambassadors and partners—The Campaign aims to continue spreading awareness and educating audiences on the importance of acknowledging the diversity of this disease.

In honor of its 30th Anniversary, The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign features voices of ELC employees, campaign ambassadors, and partners worldwide to highlight the diversity of breast cancer and the hope that unites us.

Breast cancer continues to be the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the world[1] and causes the greatest number of cancer-related deaths among women.[1] Recognizing the urgency to help address this and the diversity of breast cancer outcomes, ELC recently took important steps to help address breast cancer disparities through The Estée Lauder Companies’ Charitable Foundation.

As long as breast cancer remains a life-threatening disease, The Campaign will continue working to drive awareness and impact in support of the global breast cancer community. It’s #TimeToEndBreastCancer.
